Who we are

Kevin Latham — Chief Executive Officer

Kevin has worked in special education needs for over 20 years, and in 2017 helped to set up Creating Tomorrow. Kevin feels privileged to be the CEO of such a fantastic Trust of schools and a college; with staff so dedicated to providing the best opportunities for our pupils and students.

Kevin is also a Trustee of Mind Northamptonshire and is committed to removing barriers and increasing opportunities for some of the most vulnerable in our society.

Jeannette Payne — Trustee (Chair)

I am married and am the mother of two grown up children, and four Grandchildren. Family is the centre of my life.

I have had a career in the NHS for many years initially as an adult nurse and then moving to Neonatal Nursing. I retired a few years ago but continue to work part-time in this area.

I have been a school Governor at Millbrook Junior School and then moved to Wren Spinney School as a Governor and then Chair of Governors.

I joined Creating Tomorrow MAT as a Trustee when the MAT was formed. I am interested in how education works and how this can be supported to ensure every child achieves in school and is supported into adulthood.

I enjoy the challenge of being a Trustee and enjoy working in a supportive and enthusiastic team.

I am committed to supporting and helping the youth in this county, with involvement in Scouting, a local church and as a Trustee and Governor.

Linda Saunders — Trustee - Resigned 31.10.2023

I have semi-retired and work from home.

I wanted to become involved in a local community role and feel that with my business acumen, I have something to contribute and make a difference. Although I had not been involved directly with the school, I am Vice Chair of Governors at Wren Spinney. I had a child with special needs and I have a grandchild with special needs, so the role is particularly of interest to me.

Dame Pat Collarbone — Member - Resigned 31.08.23

Pat Collarbone is Member of the Trustee Board of Creating Tomorrow Academy Trust and a Trustee of The Laurel Trust.

Pat has worked in Education as a Teacher, Headteacher and Consultant. Prior to establishing her own Education Consultancy she held a number of posts in the Education Service with a focus on leadership and change. She has worked extensively as an education consultant overseas. In 1998, she was made a Dame for services to education

Jayne Stallard — Member Resigned 31.08.23

Jayne was a primary school teacher until qualifying as an Educational Psychologist in 1994.

She subsequently worked for Local Authorities in the East Midlands between 1994 and 2002 and as part of her work joined an innovative project around multi-agency working to support mental health in schools.

From that project she was recruited by the government to provide consultation and advice to emerging multi-agency teams and their leaders and to support change in local authorities. In 2002, she combined this with consultancy with working as an independent psychologist with schools, families and in Family Law.

Most recently, between 2013 and 2016 she returned to local authority work as an Educational Psychologist in Jersey, where she had responsibility for mental health in education on the island. This included the development of a strategy around self-harm and suicide in children and the review and refinement of the School Counselling provision.

Jayne returned to the UK in late 2016 to continue in a freelance capacity providing psychological advice to schools and Family Courts.

Gareth Ivett — Principal of Creating Tomorrow College

Ellie Edwards — Trust Governance & Compliance BP

I first started working in education at a mainstream secondary school as a Student Services Manager back in 2008.

After 7 years I moved to Isebrook SEN School and took up the role of PA to the Headteacher and SLT.  This also gave me the opportunity to widen my skills and took on additional roles as the schools Exams Officer and HR administrator.

I have been with Creating Tomorrow Trust from the beginning and have been part of this incredible journey.

I feel incredibly lucky to work with an amazing team who have the same values as myself and continue to provide opportunities for all of our students.

My main role now is Governance & Compliance Business Partner for the Trust and I thoroughly enjoy supporting Trust Leaders, Members, Trustees and Governors in their roles.
